Heather has 17 years of experience and leadership in the Optometric field, including strategic, operational management and team building. Heather is creative yet analytical, she is known for her unique and consultative approach in identifying strengths and weaknesses for each practice, as well as, strategizing, implementing and monitoring a customized action plan that yields extraordinary results. She started her career as a technician, but quickly expended her knowledge. She became a consultant in 2008, here she developed programs to improve efficiency, patient and staff satisfaction, practice profit and more. She also trained staff in insurance billing, patient care, technical skills, EMR/EHR, and many others. As needs grew in insurance billing she decided this was a great opportunity to stay closer to home and started RCM in 2012. She is happily married and currently resides in Apopka, FL with their two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys the sun, water and cars (Especially Camaros).
