Sarah Nelson

Sarah J Nelson has been a Medical Practice Executive for nearly 4 decades, bringing leadership and energy to several thriving medical practices. During her career Sarah was responsible for practice development, recruitment and day-to-day operations. She was instrumental in developing a state-wide managed care network in the early 1990s which contracted routine, medical and surgical vision care to residents of Arizona and its payors. She was hired by Vision Twenty-One, a Florida-based PPMC, and travelled extensively while managing a network of managed care providers. After semi-retiring from the V21 position, she joined an Optometry practice and enjoyed many years of practice management and development until her full retirement in 2015. She now fills her days with project and credentialing work for a select few private medical practices as well as volunteer Board work. Free time is spent with her sons and grandchildren in the beautiful Sonoran Desert state of Arizona.
